I have had the pleasure of using these products for about a year. I really like the performance of almost all the cosmetics in this line. They have a great range of foundation shades and I love that you can get mineral eye shadows in pressed form. I kind of hate using loose eye shadow. This company has just about everything you need to complete your full face of makeup. From primer to a finish sprits meant to set your foundation. The foundation coverage is great and you really don't have to use that much. The finish is a little on the dewy side, so if you don't care for that look you can dust on a little of there Rice Fishing Powder. I have tried the Rice Fishishing Powder under and over the foundation for a more matte look that helps control shine all day. Now the eyeshadows are something fun. They have great pigment and a lot of fun shades with names like Cashmere (a dark gray brown shimmer), Sea Glass (a dark shimmery turquoise) and Concord (a beautiful dark shimmer purple). I have used quite a bit of them so let me tell you that they glide on well and stay all day. I think these are one of my favorite brands for eye shadows.
The glosses for me are hit and miss. Some of them are great! and others are not so much. Now I am a self confessed lip gloss junkie, so trust me when it comes to gloss. I really love Youngbloods gloss in Poetic. It is a beautiful shimmery mauve pink. Love it. I has a fine shimmer, not big flakes that can feel irritating. I tried to love the clear shimmer gloss, but the shimmer flakes were too large and I could feel them on my lips. Sorry Youngblood. You need to work on that one a bit.
So overall this seems to be a nice product line. I only have two more things to let you guys know. One: They have recently removed all parabens from every product they carry, but I have found that some of the products that I ordered still had them on the list of ingredient. So I don't know if they are just trying to use up all of the old stock or if they have not updated the ingredients list yet. Second: The mineral foundations still have Bismuth Oxichloride in them. So, if you are alleric to that ingredient you may want to skip over this brand. I have in the past been very irritated from this ingredient from other brands, but I seem to be fine with this one.
Hope this gives you a little incite.
